Under the cover of darkness on a Sunday night they come to board up the crawl spaces so the cats can't get out. Sunday over time pay or street labor.
My personal experience is sunday is the day of the coward! People trying to get away with something illegal or immoral do it on sunday evening.
No one knows how many cats are under the buildings. This picture is of the Casa building where we know there are cats but no opening in site.
There building a holding pin around one of the access holes for the cats to the building. Next they close up all the exits but this one.
Feral cats know there area not the whole building. Cats will die before finding there way out. The last time they blocked up all the holes there was a guy under the building striping the copper pipeing Failsafe people got him out. Do they really know what there doing?
Dec. 2nd A mother Raccoon found dead, looks like hit by car. Why! now all the Raccoons being killed?

Nov. 28th Cats at fence wondering why their care givers can't feed them. Yes they know the cars and the people that care.
L. A. County money going out to keep cats on Rancho grounds from getting food an water.
Were in God name is this in anyway Humane treatment of Animals. Yes some cats can climb fences but not all the very old ones.
Distroy no matter what it cost in money or life. Yes they have life! But not for long. Mr. Knabe are you really proud of this action?

Taken 01/09/08 Confused cats looking to get under this building where they have lived for years.
Taken 01/09/08 Cat hit and killed in Flores Alley, unable to get under building due to boarding up. Confused with no place to go.
Signs went up Oct. 28 08 No ordience number, anyone could put these signs up. Even me!
We found 3 dead young Raccoons on Nov 28th. The first 2 were 52 feet apart by the new fence line. You can see fence right to the ground.
Raccoon #3 was found Nov, 28th on another street nearby. All on Rancho grounds where they have fenced in the cats.
These were teenagers not adults. Animal control would never poison these animals. But they did pick them up as they should and were going to have them checked for cause of death. Some showed no obious signs of trama.
